Sharing live scores
Anyone can follow an event's Live View — the big scoreboard of every game in progress — even if they don't have a Skoryd account. Great for sending to friends and family who want to watch from home.
Get a share link
Open the event page and tap Share — it sits beside the Live View button, and appears once the event is far enough along to have something to show. Your device's share sheet opens (or the link is copied to your clipboard) with a link like:
skoryd.com/live/9f3c…
Send that link to anyone. Opening it shows the live scoreboard — scores update in real time as games are played, with no login required. The link is a private, unguessable address: only people you send it to can open it.
Organizers will also find Share on the Screens tab of the Control Center, beside the kiosk codes.
Choosing what you see
Whoever opens a Live View link can change what it shows: the button in the top-right names the current view, and tapping it moves to the next one — Live (everything) → Courts → Progress → Up Next → Standings → back to Live. Nothing to type and nothing to know in advance, so it's worth mentioning when you send the link to someone watching from home.
The link in the address bar updates as you go, so you can copy whatever view you're on and send that instead.
Putting it on more than one screen
At a bigger event one screen has to fit everything at once, and something has to
give — with a dozen courts in play there is no room left to show the round coming
up next. If you have more than one TV, you can give each one a job by adding
?view= to the end of the Live View link:

So a link ending …/live/9f3c?view=courts shows only the court line-up, at full
size. Setting the link up this way is worth doing for a screen you mount on a
wall and leave alone — it comes back to the right view after a power cut or a
reload, which tapping the button does not. The button and the link do the same
thing otherwise.
Note
Darts events say ?view=boards. The word follows the sport — courts for
cornhole, boards for darts, areas for anything else — and it's what you'll see
in the address bar when you tap the view button. Any of the three is accepted
on any sport, so a link you saved earlier keeps working.
With two screens, use ?view=courts on one and ?view=progress on the
other. Progress shows whatever the event's second half is: the round coming up
and the standings on a round robin, the waiting list and the standings on queued
play, or the bracket and the games ready to start on a bracket event.
With three, split progress into ?view=up_next and ?view=standings.
If a standings list is too long for its screen it turns the page every few seconds rather than hiding anyone.
Note
Check-in and final results take over every screen, whatever job you gave it — those are moments the whole room is looking for, and a courts screen has nothing to say during check-in.
Each screen needs its own device (a TV, a laptop, a tablet) pointed at its own
link. They all update together, and any link without ?view= keeps showing the
combined view exactly as before.
Resetting the link (organizers)
If you're an organizer and want to cut off access to a link you shared earlier, tap Reset link on the Screens tab of the Control Center. That generates a brand-new link — the old one stops working immediately. Anyone still watching on the old link, on any screen, will need the new one.
Note
The share link works for any event you can see, including private clubs — the link itself is the key. Reset it any time you want to retire it.
