Getting started
Welcome to Skoryd — a platform for cornhole and darts leagues, tournaments, and casual play. This guide gets you from sign-up to your first match.
Create your account
- Tap Get started — or, from the Sign in page, choose "Don't have an account? Create one" — and enter your email and a password.
- Check your inbox for a confirmation link and click it to verify your email. (If you don't see it, check your Promotions or Spam folder.)
- The first time you sign in you'll accept the Terms of Service. Some clubs also require approval before you can do everything — if so, you'll land on a short "awaiting approval" screen until an organizer approves you.
Tip
If you were invited by a club or sent a beta invitation, use the link from that email — it carries your invitation and skips a few steps.
Set up your profile
Open the avatar menu in the top-right corner, choose My Profile, then Edit profile. Worth filling in:
- Display name — what other players see on leaderboards and match cards.
- Avatar — an optional photo; otherwise your initials are shown.
- Stats privacy — Public (anyone can see your stats) or Private (hidden from public leaderboards, though club members and people in your events can still see them).
Your full name, email, and demographic details (used only by organizers of clubs you join) are kept separate from your public profile and are never shown to other players.
Your personal QR code
Open My QR Code from the avatar menu (top-right). This is your identity for in-person play: another player scans it to add you to a Quick Play match or to confirm a result. You never type someone's name from a list — scanning a QR is how Skoryd knows the right player is actually present.
What's next
- Join a club to play in its leagues and tournaments.
