Quick scorer (no login)

Sometimes you just want to keep score of a backyard or practice game without signing in or logging anything. The quick scorer is a free, standalone cornhole scorer that runs entirely on your device — none of your game data is saved to Skoryd. There are no accounts, no rosters, and no stats; when you close the tab it's gone.

You can open it from the Score a game — no login button on the Skoryd home page, or go straight to /scorer.

Setting up a game

On the setup screen you choose:

• Scorer layout — pick the style that suits your device and taste:

  • Classic (cornhole) — numbered bag entry with a round-by-round table.
  • Scorecard (cornhole) — tap a team, then fill in the round on a sheet.
  • Grid (cornhole) — one tap per side on a triangular grid.
  • Simple (any sport) — just tap each side's running score up. No per-bag detail, so this one works for any sport, not just cornhole.
  • Tablet scoreboard (cornhole, tablet only) — a big landscape kiosk-style board, meant for a tablet propped up beside the boards. It's not designed for phones.

  All layouts except Simple are cornhole-specific (they track bags in the hole and on the board). The Tablet scoreboard is tablet only, but Scorecard and Simple also work great on a tablet. You can switch layouts mid-game from the ⋮ menu.

• Games — a single game, or a series of 3 / 5 / 7 games. For a series you can leave it as best-of (the series ends as soon as one side clinches) or turn on Play all games to always play the full set and total them up.

• Team names — name the two sides however you like (they default to "Team 1" and "Team 2"). This works for singles or doubles — it's just a label.

• Scoring rules — points to win (21 by default), cancellation scoring, bust-back, and win-by-two.

Tap Start scoring and the full-screen scorer opens.

Scoring

The scorer works exactly like Skoryd's built-in cornhole scoring — enter each round, edit or delete a round if you fumble a tap, and watch the running score. When a side reaches the target, tap Finish game. Because there's no one to approve the score, the game is done right away and a winner card appears — no sign-in, no confirmation step.

A small bar at the top of the scorer shows the series score (or the matchup) and a New game button if you want to start over with different settings.

Series, rematches, and starting over

When a game finishes:

• In a series, the winner card offers Start game 2 (and so on) until one side clinches or you've played all the games.
• For a single game or a finished series, tap Play again to run it back with the same teams and rules.
• New game — change settings takes you back to the setup screen.

If you refresh the page or close the tab by accident, your game in progress is remembered on that device, so you can pick up where you left off.

What's saved

None of your game data. The quick scorer doesn't record win/loss, stats, teams, scores, or history, and it doesn't need an account — none of that ever leaves your device. The one thing it does send is an anonymous "+1" to Skoryd's platform-wide games-played counter when you finish a game, so those backyard games still count toward the total shown on the home page. That ping carries no players, scores, or details — just the tally.

If you want your games to count toward leaderboards and ratings, play a Quick Play match or a club event instead.
