Sign up on your own. Partners are drawn at random once registration closes, and nobody sees the pairings until the draw. This is the best event to come to alone. You will have met half the club by the end of the afternoon.

Five Swiss rounds and nobody goes home early. Each round pairs you against someone on a similar record, so the games stay competitive all day. Standings come down to wins first, then the strength of the players you faced.

Our annual charity day. Every dollar of entry goes to the county food bank and the club covers the boards, the bags and the coffee. Teams are seeded from the season numbers and paired to keep the matchups close, so a first-year player is never handed a hopeless draw. Everyone plays all day.
