Creating a club
A club is the home for everything you organize — its leagues, tournaments, members, leaderboards, and seasons all live under it. You need a club before you can create any events, so this is the first step for an organizer.
Start a new club
You can begin from either place:
- Clubs (in the menu) → + Create club
- Dashboard → + New club (or Create a club if you're not in any club yet)
Accept the organizer agreement
The first time you create a club, you'll be asked to read and accept the organizer agreement. This is a one-time step — once you've accepted it, you go straight to the create form for every club after that.
Fill in the club details
- Club name (required) — what players see in the directory and on events.
- Description — a short note about your club. Optional.
- Visibility:
- Public — listed in the public directory; anyone can find it and request to join.
- Private — hidden from the directory; people can only join with your invite link or join code.
- Default sport — pre-selected when you create new events. You can override it per event, so pick whichever sport you run most.
- Location — venue name and address. All optional, but filling it in helps players find you and shows on your public About page.
Note
New members always require your approval, regardless of visibility — even a public club reviews join requests. You choose who's on the roster.
Tap Create club to finish. You're added as the club's owner (an organizer) and land on the club's page.
Next steps
- Invite players — open Settings → Invite Players to share your join code or invite link, or email the invite to players directly. See Joining a club for what the people you invite will see.
- Add a logo (optional) — organizers get a Logos page to upload your club's branding and pick a default event logo.
- Create your first event — decide between a recurring league and a one-off tournament in Leagues vs tournaments.
Note
Need help running things? As the owner, you can promote an approved member to co-organizer with the Make Organizer button on the Members page — co-organizers can run events and manage scoring alongside you.
