Scoring a darts match
Skoryd scores darts as 501, double-out, played over legs and sets.
The rules
- Both players start at 501 and subtract each visit's total.
- Double-out: you must finish on a double (or the bullseye) to win a leg. If a visit would take you below 2, or to 1, or finishes on a non-double, it's a bust and your score for that visit doesn't count.
- A match is a best-of legs and sets. By default it's a single set of best-of-3 legs; organizers can change the number of sets and legs per set when they create the event.
Entering scores
The darts scorer takes one visit total at a time (the sum of your three darts). Enter the number you scored and it's subtracted from your remaining total. The screen tracks each player's remaining score, the current leg, and sets won.
When a visit finishes the leg on a valid double, mark it out; if it busts, the visit is recorded as a bust and no points come off.
The score syncs live across every device that has the match open, so both players see each visit and the remaining totals update in real time — only one person needs to enter the scores.
Legs, sets, and the match score
- Win enough legs to take a set; win enough sets to win the match.
- A match's headline score (for example 2–1) is sets won, not legs or points.
Finishing
As with cornhole, a completed darts match goes to pending approval and isn't final until both sides confirm — see Confirming & disputing scores.
